Jon Lewis Kelly, Senior Partner, has been practicing law on Colorado’s Western Slope since 1992. Jon grew up in Cortez, Colorado, and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College in 1989 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 1992. He is admitted to practice in all Colorado courts including the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for Colorado as well as the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Court. His practice focuses primarily on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and trust administration, real estate, municipal law, business law and civil litigation. Jon enjoys spending time with family, hunting, mountain biking, and exploring the mountains and canyons of the Southwest. Jon practices out of the Dolores branch but accepts cases across the West Slope.

Christine Kelly joined the firm in 2025 after practicing criminal defense law at the Grand Junction Public Defender's Office since 2019. At the Public Defender's Office, Christine handled misdemeanors, juvenile cases, and all levels of felonies including felony assaults and homicides. Christine's primary areas of practice are criminal and civil litigation. She also works on trust and estate matters, municipal law, and business law. Christine graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. She went on to graduate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2019 where she earned both her Juris Doctor and Masters of Environmental Studies. Christine grew up in Dolores, Colorado and is passionate about providing quality legal representation for the West Slope of Colorado. She enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her dogs. Christine practices out of the Grand Junction office but accepts cases across the state.

Zach Fronapfel
Zachary (Zach) Fronapfel joined the firm in 2023 after practicing criminal defense at the Montrose Public Defender's Office since 2021. At the Public Defender's Office, Zach gained valuable litigation experience which he uses in private practice today. He primarily focuses on dependency and neglect, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and trust administration, real estate, municipal law, business law and civil litigation. Zach graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Mesa University in 2018 where he played soccer for the university. Zach went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2021. He grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado and is dedicated to having a client centered practice. Zach enjoys playing and watching soccer, fly fishing, camping and spending time with his dogs. Zach practices out of the Grand Junction office but accepts cases across the state.
